Dayaxe created a “daycation” resource providing consumers with day access to some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and resorts without having to commit to a night’s stay.

Challenge

Hotels have low occupancy rates during the week and off season. Locals are always looking for things to do near them. Would users buy day access to luxury hotels? Would hotels earn enough revenue for the program to be attractive to them?

Results

Dayaxe signed marquee hotel brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, The W, Fairmont, Hyatt, Westin, InterContinental and many more to give consumers the ultimate experience any hotel guest would receive at an efficient price. After growing DayAxe to over 20 major metro markets, 500,000 users and a multi-million dollar revenue stream, it was successfully sold in December 2019.

Goal

Our initial goal was to prove out the concept in Los Angeles, nail down CPAs and iron out operational process with hotels, then scale to top US markets.
